Rafael Carneiro (São Paulo, Brazil, 1985) graduated in Fine Arts from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) in 2006.

Later, the artist moved from abstraction to figuration by developing hyper-realistic paintings based on photographs. In 2019, Rafael brought to the screens an overlay of dissonant images, which do not seem to be part of the same universe. He recently started to develop a series of drawings.
